More Flickr Fun!

Time to let roll on Jurin's Flickr photostream again! This time, I'll discuss each photo with my alts, Winter and Torvald. Blah Blah Blah Owned by Jurin Blah Blah Legalities.

Anna: Well, it's some kind of erector set in a ravine on a full moon.
Winter: ...
Torvald: Where is everyone? Scared of the werewolves?
Anna: I don't think so, I don't see any homes.
Torvald: Maybe their doors and windows can blend into the cliff?
Anna: Maybe they're going to build something, like scaffolding on a building!
Torvald: Then where's the tools?
Anna: Took them with them?
Torvald: Why?
Winter: ...
Anna: It's an intersection. Homes are beyond and behind the screenshot. Kind of like taking photos of a train track but not the stations.
Torvald: That's stupid.
Winter: It's Riven.

Torvald: Confession: I'm scared of mice
Winter: Why?
Torvald: They live in the walls. Who knows what they hear me doing?
Anna: And what are you doing?
Torvald: Not much
Anna: Then why worry?
Torvald: Well, what if I wanted to do something in private? The buggers will be listening and watching
Anna: Well, this mouse isn't a wall mouse. It's just a mouse on a wall.
Winter: Great Wall of China
Torvald: That mouse has horrible proportions. Can its neck and that body support that giant head? The tail looks like a jousting lance coming out of its ass.
Anna: Torvy! Don't be so mean. It can't help that it was born that way.
Winter: It is made of prims.
Anna: True, but prims have feelings too!
Torvald: Maybe it's comtemplating jumping? It's a rather blah day out in that pic, perfect weather for a suicide.
Winter: Suicide is not the answer.
Anna: If a mouse commits suicide, does it go to hell? People go to hell for it, but the Bible doesn't mention anything about mice.

Winter: Pretty
Anna: Madcow made this.
Torvald: Is that the one who doesn't talk?
Anna: I think so. I can't remember names for the life of me
Torvald: Oh? What's my name
Anna: Ha freaking Ha
Anna: The body is pretty blah, but those wings!
Torvald: I wonder how evolution would work to create such a wing pattern.
Anna: Well, such a pattern may scare away predators.
Winter: It helps in sexy times?
Torvald: Pretty gawky if you ask me.
Anna: You know, maybe it's like a bee, those colors are a warning. If you look closely, you can almost see a stinger on the abdomen there.
Torvald: Why are you looking at... you know what, I don't wanna know.

Anna: It's telling of the economy how there are no shows playing.
Torvald: Why go to a movie theater when you can download off the internet?
Anna: Yeah, if you have internet access for Second Life, you might as well go ahead and torrent everything
Torvald: And there is a movie poster for 'Twister'
Anna: That movie was bad
Torvald: So? The tornadoes were awesome, and everything got torn up.
Anna: Yeah, but...
Torvald: But?
Anna: I dunno, something about the movie rubbed me the wrong way. A movie can't be all action, can it?
Torvald: Well, it's a movie about tornadoes. How much plot can you expect? Twisters aren't exactly good actors. In fact, they tend to be windbags.
Winter: Bad jokes deserve the death penalty.
Torvald: lol

Torvald: Jurin and Dimi, sitting in a tree
Anna: Oh god
Winter: ...
Torvald: K I S S I N G
Anna: Please stop...
Torvald: First comes love...
Anna: Hey, Dimi and tree almost kind of rhymes
Torvald: Then comes marriage...
Anna: That's not a big theater, either, is it?
Torvald: Then comes baby in the baby carriage!
Winter: Death Penalty
Torvald: ouch

Torvald: "Doctor, my tooth hurts"
Winter: ?
Torvald: You've never played that game where you pull the alligator's teeth?
Winter: no
Torvald: I always had the damn thing clamp its jaws down on me. And it's killing me that I can't remember the name. Anna, I think you're rubbing off on me.
Anna: Hey, is it a crocodile or an alligator?
Torvald: Hmm, uh, I dunno. Winter?
Winter: ...
Torvald: Yep, no idea either.
Winter: Wikipedia
Torvald: No, no wikipedia! Hey, this scene is pretty tropical. Jungle book style.
Winter: ...
Torvald: I'm crusing down da Nile, this croc is chocking bile, maybe I'll get him riled... UP!
Winter: Death Penalty

Winter: Reeds hide Moses
Anna: That's a lot of hippos
Torvald: I'm amazed neither of you notice what's wrong with this scene
Anna: Care to enlighten us?
Torvald: What are hippos doing in a desert? Are they more jungle?
Anna: I dunno. Why don't you ask your friend Wikipedia?
Torvald: Let's.
...
Torvald: They used to be extant up and down the Nile, but not anymore.
Winter: Sad
Anna: So you think this is someone in Second Life trying to recapture a lost species?
Torvald: If by lost you mean "Not there anymore", because Hippos aren't extinct... yet
Winter: Sad
Anna: And notice how it's in the evening. A perfect symbol of the decline of hippos in the wild.
Torvald: How sad.
Winter: Sad

Anna: Does this frighten you, Torvy?
Torvald: No, not really
Anna: Mice do but giant tentacles don't?
Torvald: Well, it's all in where they live. Mice live in my walls. Giant Octopi don't.
Torvald: Are they Giant Octopi?
Anna: There's giant squid. They're related to octopi. So yes, there are giant octopus.
Torvald: Ok, well, as long as I avoid the shore I'm cool with them
Torvald: You know, it's like: I won't barge into someone else's home. Not like mice do.
Torvald: Plus, mice get into your food and shit in it. Gross.
Anna: It only has four tentacles.
Torvald: So?
Anna: OCTOpus. It should have eight.
Winter: Treading water?
Anna: Perhaps.
Torvald: It also looks like a lake. Or a really shallow bay.
Anna: Oh, then it wouldn't fit in there either, would it?
Winter: Textures open the imagination
Anna: Yes, that is good texturing. It really feels as if a giant octopus is coming out and exploring the world of air
Torvald: Ha, beat you to the punch, suckers!

Torvald: Didn't Jurin already visit heaven once already?
Anna: Well, not quite. It was just a 'driving through the neighborhood' moment.
Winter: Death's door is one way
Anna: Yeah, read what I said: just driving by. She didn't enter it.
Torvald: Why is heaven always bright and white?
Anna: Because we're dinural creatures and our culture associates white with purity and good?
Torvald: Really?
Anna: Just a guess
Torvald: There's even a stairway. Who has a wheelchair in the afterlife? Is your soul really remain crippled after you die? That's pretty mean of God
Anna: Perhaps. But maybe He doesn't make the rules.
Torvald: That's bullshit. He's God.
Anna: True, but notice he doesn't interfere in our world, either.
Winter: Decour eases transition
Torvald: I suppose it is easier for our minds to comphrehend. 2001: A Space Odessy was trippy enough
Anna: And that was a work of man
Anna: She's stopped about a third of the way up, though. As if the avatar in question is hesitant
Anna: Maybe she's in a coma, and is deciding whether to remain in a coma or fall into a vegetative state.
Anna: Trying to decide whether to suffer and potentially recover to the joy of her family, or leave for her own happiness while her family languishes over whether to pull the plug or not
Torvald: You're scary sometimes.

Anna: This reminds me of Spore
Torvald: Your mom reminds me of Spore
Anna: Ha, no. In Spore, the planets are really tiny. About as big as Pluto. It's weird.
Torvald: It's a game
Anna: I mean, how do they even retain an atmosphere? How did each planet get sized to the exact same dimensions?
Torvald: Game.
Anna: Really, this house is Spore. Your species has one city and it dominates the planet. Your creatures are like epically giant.
Torvald: GAME
Winter: Reflections of reality suspend disbelief
Torvald: It's a GAME. It doesn't have to do anything. You're just supposed to have fun with it.
Torvald: Evolution doesn't work that way, but does it make Spore any less fun?
Anna: No, but it's just ridiculous.
Torvald: Have you ever played a game where anything was not ridiculous?
Anna: Yeah, I guess everything gets kind of trippy.
Anna: Like Elmo's Letter Adventure.
Torvald: That game came out when you were about 14. Why'd you get it?
Winter: Siblings offer demands against the one
Anna: I have a lot of strange stuff around.
Torvald: So, you must spend a lot of time complaining about each and every thing?
Anna: Just when it's 'in your face' like the planet thing.
Torvald: But a house inside a moon is ok?
Anna: I never said it wasn't. Just that Spore got it wrong.
Anna: I wonder how you get home here. Is it following the Jetsons?
Torvald: It's rustic, I think maybe it's hot air balloons.
Winter: Proportion consistancy enhances design
Anna: Hm?
Torvald: I think she's pointing out that the window in the moon is way bigger than the door on the house itself.
Anna: Then those laterns are pretty big, too
Torvald: Your mom is big.
Winter: Death Penalty.

Anna: Yay! We're finally done. And... oh my god, there's NOTHING here.
Torvald: Columbus would be screwed.
Anna: It's something so beautiful and yet horrifying at the same time
Winter: Horror is reality
Torvald: Dandelions are real, are they horrific?
Winter: No
Torvald: Then reality is not horror
Winter: Their seeds spread and ruin the lawn
Torvald: Is that really that horrible? Just some herbicide will cure that.
Winter: The scars of battle would remain
Torvald: What?
Winter: The poison forever seeped into the ground
Winter: Welling up in the aquifier
Winter: Children pay for the sins of the father
Torvald: It's not DDT ffs, it's just some ol' herbicide
Torvald: You're just being melodramatic now
Winter: Tragedy breeds from willful ignorance
Torvald: You know what? I'm done.
Anna: What?
Torvald: I'm not arguing with her anymore. NOT LISTENING
Winter: ...
Torvald: LA LA LAH
Winter: ...
Anna: ANYWAY, back on topic
Torvald: This was during a crash
Anna: This was during a crash
Anna: Hey, jinx!
Torvald: Jinx
Anna: Double jinx
Torvald: Triple jinx
Anna: Quad jinx
Winter: Infinite jinxes
Torvald: I'm ignoring her, so no infinite jinx
Torvald: ...
Torvald: Infinity jinx
Anna: sigh
Torvald: sigh
Anna: So, we see heaven when we die, and when we crash, we see boundless ocean
Torvald: So, we see heaven when we die, and when we crash, we see boundless ocean
Anna: ...
Torvald: ...
Anna: Ok, Ok, I get it
Torvald: Ok ok, I get it
Anna: I'm a big moron and also I like to stick prim penises in my ear
Torvald: Ew
Torvald: Way to blow it out of proportion
Winter: ...
Torvald: I was just playing with you
Anna: Well, stay on topic. Play with the topic
Torvald: I am glad you admitted to being a moron.
Anna: Torvald!
Torvald: Just playing! Jeez
Anna: Well, anyway, this is one good thing about Windlight: crashes are pretty
Torvald: It's kinda boring, actually
Torvald: Can't they rezz some ships or seagulls?
Anna: You can't if you've crashed. The definition of a crash is when you glitch out like that
Torvald: Stick something moving and interesting in the sky, then.
Winter: The dead albatross heralds bad omens
Torvald: We're not sticking dead birds in the sky. Just something to liven up the landscape.
Torvald: And I said I'm not talking to you
Winter: Ears cannot unlisten
Torvald: I hate you too
Anna: Guys! Please!
Anna: ...
Anna: oh dammit, I'm seeing the same thing in Second Life. Thanks for crashing me out
Torvald: Anytime
Winter: Death Penalty
Torvald: That wasn't a even joke!!

Well, thanks again Jurin for providing the photos. And thanks to Torvald and Winter for suffering through this post. And thanks to me for posting it.

Merry Rezzday, Jurin Juran!

Today is Jurin's rezzday. Like the terrible friend that I am, I did not get her a present nor organize any kind of celebration. If I see her inworld (or IM her) I'd send her a 'happy rezzday', but that is like sending a generic birthday card to someone in real life. It's more a 'hey I'm still alive and you are still alive and this is an acknowledgment of that fact' reminder rather than an honest gift between two friends.

Oh, I could rationalize myself. I'm poor (which is too true, I'm not a good vendor) and thus can't buy anything spectacular. I'm busy in real life and so cannot find the time to do or get something special (not even a prim birthday cake? :O). I'm forgetful (lame!). I'm lazy (double lame!). Surely this post is enough? Triple lame!

So, this will be Jurin's second year in Second Life. You read that right. For two long years, this person has slogged through thick and thin and never went AFK permanently. For two years, she endured copybot, closing of ad farms, horrible sim and viewer upgrades and downgrades, and countless waves of spammers and newbies. And the occasional griefer. And me.

If you do the calculations, one year in real life translates to six years in Second Life. I believe the Lindens stated that there are 6 days in a single day, 6 days times 365 is equal to 6 times one year equals 6 years. By this measure, Jurin is 12 years old with respect to Second Life. She's just about to become a teenager!

Jurin wastes a lot of time. Making sure the sim is ok, making sure the artists are ok, helping the occasional newbie, discussing the effects of global warming upon the production of Dr. Pepper plants in North Dakota and the effect upon the boiling point of hydrogen. And that's not counting the half million independent projects she starts or joins. And social networking, which she loves to do.

It is an incredible work ethic that unfortunately wears upon her real life to some degree. Jurin, today or tomorrow I want you to do nothing. You hear me? NOTHING. You need just a day off to goof off, explore Second Life, watch a sunset, or pick one of the newly laid Linden roads and follow it until it hits the end of the continent. You deserve it. Nothing is going to go wrong if you take a single day to yourself. And if someone bugs you, tell them to stuff it in their talk hole until tomorrow. And don't hand me that crap that "Oh, I already had a day off and you just happened to miss it". You're going to take the day off because it's your rezzday, dammit. Even if we have to tie you to a chair and drag you to a beach.

That is why it's too easy to like Jurin. She is too damn nice for her own good. Sure, when she's angry she gets really nasty, but it takes a lot of energy to do that. Epic amounts. Similar to how helium can become a solid at low temperatures. Possible, but really really hard. Usually, though, she's relatively pleasant even when she's suffering from food poisoning. Or when her air conditioning breaks and it's pushing 110 degrees outside. Or an asteroid hits the planet and a wall of fire and ash is fast approaching.

"But Anna," you are mewing at this point, "Surely you exaggerate!" No, my friends, I am not. For I shall rely the story of the anonymous (to me, anyway) donor.

For you see, one day someone (nevermind who) decided for whatever reason known but to Nunchuck to donate a significant chuck of L$ to Jurin's Blackwater gallery. We're talking not just 100, not just 100,000 but upwards of a million or so L$. And upon receiving this huge sum and its promise of paying off some significant tier, Jurin mulls it over and decides to return the amount, judging it to be either a mistake or embarrassing and possibly both. Read that sentence again. Thinking it a mistake, she returned almost a million L$.

Now, as it turns out it wasn't an accident and it is rather rude to defer a donation back to the donator, but let's consider if it had been an accident. How many of us would return it? No one else knows but you. Would you return it? I can only speak for myself. I would keep it. And hey, this kind of works in as a plus and a fault of Jurin's, because sometimes she loops all the way around past the 'super nice' on the nice scale and back into 'super rude'. It's also annoying. Be selfish! Good Nunchuck, all 19 of my readers will see this and think I'm exaggerating. Well, 18, because Jurin is one of those 19. They'll say, "Oh, Anna is being Anna and making tall tales again, like when she talked about a cheese powered computer."

But Jurin is a good friend. Whenever she's on, she doesn't ignore people. She always gives me the time of day, and Nunchuck only knows I can rant and rave and make someone reach for the mute button. No. She always seems to listen because she will interject and not with "What?" or "What the hell?" or "I have no idea what you are talking about", but something relevant! Like "I disagree, cheese powered computers would only be good in Wisconsin." Although, since I can't (and prefer not to) hear her tone over the internet, she may be honest or sarcastic about the matter.

For better or for worse, Jurin also egged me on to create a blog. So you can blame her. You can blame her for a lot of things, because she likes to egg people on. I think it irritates her to watch someone not do something. I'll bet if I stopped writing normal posts right now and filled this thing with posts consisting of the letters of the alphabet, she would bug me until I stopped and returned to normal. Such as normal as I can get.

In short, Jurin is a good and true and loyal friend despite whatever she thinks. And she will, I know she will, IM me inworld right about.... now and deny this entire thing. Sigh. Humility is a terrible sin.

Oh, and Jurin? You didn't want anything for your rezzday? Tough shit.

Indiana Juran and The Secret of Flickr

Today, for lack of anything better to do, I think I will go and rip some photos off of Jurin's Flickr page. Jurin is quite the adventurer who isn't so bad with (virtual?) photography. Personally, I suggested that Jurin go and found her own photo blog, but I was met with "Not for me!". Naturally that means I have to take up the mantle and hot link a bunch of photos! Before a million copyright lawyers descend upon me, I'd like to point out that I have linked to Jurin above, and also that I have not asked permission first. Hmm, perhaps I should not have let slip that last part.

Cool Orchestra

Jurin claims this is an orchestra, and I can only imagine the sim owner claims the same. All I know is that now I'm going to have nightmares of Oompa-Loompa Bishops, all staring at me with their judging eyes. OH THEIR EYES.

On second thought, they aren't really looking at the camera. Looks more like they're asleep. Probably plotting their next victim. Maybe electing the next pope of the Holy Willy Wonka Catholic Church.

Pride of Egypt

A throne fit for a Pharoh. Judging from all the rainbows, I suspect the pharoh who erected this throne was either a leprechaun or gay. The entire thing appears to be on stage. "Comedy Hour, starring Ramses the Third!"

"Hey, you're a great crowd. Now, what is the deal with The Nile? What, it hasn't moved onto anger yet?" Cue the Seinfeld sound clip and computer synthesized audience laughter.

Sunset City

Ever see the City of Phoenix, in Arizona? This is almost a dead ringer in terms of architectural styles. Honey bunches of block buildings. It's that new style of American downtowns, where the buildings ain't that high and are rather monotonous. Not implying that is a bad thing, nobody said cities have to be giant art comments of architects.

I think the true beauty arises from Windlight and the way the sunset frames each building. You know what I think when I see this? I'm thinking it's Friday afternoon, I've just punched the clock in my office, and this is the view while I'm waiting for the elevator. You can even see that there's no traffic, because I've worked overtime and everyone already went home, probably down the shore in this season but the mountains in the background along with the trees give me a vibe that this town is a long way from a sunny beach.

The Juggler

Jurin juggling. Just jumps off the tongue, jiving about like an Irish jig.

There's an invisible christmas tree to her left, and I'm sure that red ball is about to be dropped. You can even see her looking at that red ball, in a resigned sort of way. It's okay. You've gotten farther than I ever have in juggling. Damn gravity.

Columbus 1492

"More bears :P" is the comment Jurin supplied, and indeed, you can just make out the little critters. A grizzly Columbus, just landing on a brave new world of Native bears (who knows, red pandas?). I guess the Nina and Pinta didn't survive the voyage. Santa Bearia did.

Damn Dragons

Dragons in a wing of three. I guess magic is holding them up, because I see no visible means of support. One has to wonder what they are up to, because a single dragon is bad news enough. Imagine a swarm of three descending upon your hapless sim.

The lag would be horrible, for one.

I'm a pinball in there somewhere

A Second Life pinball machine. Incredible. From the comments, I assume that an avatar is the pinball. In pictures like these, I like to notice the backgrounds. There's an ice castle, a giant robot decked with what appears to be red wings, and a small village of shacks and things. There is only one conclusion.

This is a theme park in a third world country. The rich Americans go the park, while the huddled masses build shanty towns around the gates (or lack thereof in this photo) while the common folk work earning peanuts and two cents a day in the park shoveling the cigarette butts from the morons inconsiderate enough to just throw them on the ground when the trash bin is three feet away and the cigarette tower (the little spike looking things you're supposed to dispose butts in) is six INCHES away. I mean, sweet Jesus, does it really take that much effort to chuck them in the bin, Jack?? Do you really have to litter my lawn? It didn't look crappy enough for you as it is, you have to go and attempt to burn it with your disgusting habits? I'm going to install tasers in the ground, and when you come near they'll trigger and shock you. Then, I'll drag your body onto YOUR lawn. How's that, Mr Too Good To Dispose My Cigarettes Properly? Stupid morons. Smoking is bad for you anyway, and bad with second-hand smoke to others, the least you could do is just throw your garbage where it belongs instead of making my lawn, and by extension my city, state, nation, continent, planet, solar system, galaxy, cluster, and universe uglier. Thanks a lot.

Oh, uh, so anyway, I'll bet the avatars who ride that thing get real sick.

A Rezz Day Introspection

Last night was Jurin's Rezz day party. It's amazing to think that someone who has accomplished and sacrificed so much for the 'community' (such as it is) was still under a year old in Second Life. Then I turn around and realize it is 2008 and the people from 2006 and 2007, considering stupid and resource hogging newbies when I started, are becoming part of the old farts hanging around the grid.

One noticeable feature was the sheer amount of Lindens present. I saw Mia, Joppa, and Kate and I am sure there were others that I missed. The old joke is that Jurin is Linden-elect, only waiting to be sworn in to the Almighty Lab. Who knows, it could be possible. But then I really thought long and hard about it (all of twelve minutes!) and I realized that it would never ever happen. You probably think I am out of my mind but let me lay out some reasons why before you tear me apart.

1) Jurin is Nice

Jurin is a kind soul. She spends nunchuck only knows how much tier on newbie communities. I've almost never seen her utter a nasty remark on anyone. Hell, she donated land for the Chrine at Windermere. She's not perfect by any means, but considering the average behavior of people on the grid she's almost like Jesus.

And that is why she cannot be a Linden. Lindens are evil and cruel. They delight in banning people. They eat babies. They crash your sims when you are trying to host a party and they hit you with lag when you are trying to build or do something productive. Jurin would never be able to do that. She does not have that capacity. I've tried my hardest but she won't even accidently on purpose push someone off a cliff or cage them. It's just not in her. And unfortunately, being mean is a requirement for being a Linden.

2) Jurin has a soul in the first place

Everyone knows the Lindens are something like the Borg. The Borg, for those living under a rock and have never heard of Star Trek, are a race of machine cyborgs who mutilate people and turn them into drones of themselves and they do this until you kill them or they assimilate everything. No one in the Borg has any spirit, they all walk, talk, and think alike.

Lindens are like Borg. They do not have souls. They all somewhat walk, talk, and think alike. If you have a disagreement with one Linden and beg another one to review the case, they will certainly agree with each other and ban you anyway. They don't have souls, that is how they can be so cruel (see point #1). Studies are underway examining if they start with souls and lose them or if they really do lack a soul from birth.

Jurin has a soul. Therefore, she will never be a Linden.

3) Lindens are Stupid

Lindens are not very bright. Take a look at some of the policies and actions they have taken (or not taken). For centuries they placed ad farms under 'freedom of speech'. After three years and thousands of dollars in exhortion by ad farmers, the other day they FINALLY banned them. I bashed my head against the desk, saying "Took long enough took long enough". It's mind numbing. They are very intelligent (coding the world ain't easy and neither is passing college as I assume they all have), but very obtuse when it comes to actually interacting with this world of ours.

Jurin has a brain. I guarantee she would have taken a stance on ad farms in March 2007, a month after she signed up. And that's just a single issue. Who knows what other issues would have been done and over with Jurin at the helm? She doesn't need Ph.D in Informatics and Computer Engineering, just some common sense.

4) Jurin spends time among the common folk

Jurin will actually talk to and engage other people in conversation. That is, she makes friends outside of the scope of her work. THis is underheard of among Lindens. They only come inworld to grace us with their presence at office hours, and even then you can't be sure if they are really listening or just sitting there AFK. Jurin listens and actually communicates with people.

5) Because Jurin Linden sounds pretty awkward

Jurin Linden does not quite roll off the tongue as well as Jurin Juran.

There you have it. I believe the evidence is more than sufficient. Given the above, Jurin can never be a Linden. To be honest, you could really use this list with pretty much anyone and this is probably why there are so few Lindens.

And for the Linden Bots reading this (because I know Philip trawls the internet and examines all SL blogs), yes. I totally went there.

Drowned

Starax created so many wonderful and memorable creations. One of them is a statue of a man holding a limp woman, titled "Drowned".

One cannot link more than 256 prims together. This as you can imagine is a problem with larger builds and sculptures. So a common technique is to build giant pieces of your sculpture and place them all together to give the illusion that they are all linked into one piece. "Drowned" is an example of this, as the man and woman are each separate statues in their own right.

Why do I bring this up? Because my good friend Jurin (who runs Blackwater Gallery, which is definitely worth checking out and donating to) and self-proclaimed Starax worshipper (which is okay because Nunchuck likes Starax too) happens to have this particular piece on display. Her gallery is becoming renowned through the Second Life Land and people are taking notice and blogging their trips down to Blackwater. One I happened to stumble upon was an article by Stone Culdesac on The Grid Live, which pours over various galleries.

The Open Air Gallery shows how "Drowned" is supposed to be arranged. Now see Blackwater's interpretation?

You may be wondering why I am bringing this up. For you see, some time ago, someone (we never found out who) arranging "Drowned" so that the man appeared to be giving pleasure to the female statue. I don't have a snapshot on hand, but suffice to say, Jurin was both surprised and a tad miffed. Light Waves commented that this new arrangement was clever. We all had a chuckle and moved on.

Now, it seems like the mysterious rearranger has struck Jurin again. The newest pose has the woman leaping into the arms of the man which gets points in my book for being tasteful vandalism.

I wonder what we can expect to see from this mystery vandal in the future.

Details of New Blackwater Project Leaked!

Today, the SL art world was rocked as Jurin J Juran leaked rumors that she might be starting a new project. Little information was provided, save that it required an alt and involved rezzing prims and lots of Instant Messaging.

When asked to comment on this development, Jurin replied, "Oh stop. I'm gonna wear my gossip girl hud and rate you."

Jurin Juran runs the Blackwater Gallery, which can be found on the Blackwater sim.
